EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Hurd came to HP in 2005 as CEO and president; he became its board chair in 2006.
Before HP, Hurd worked at business technology company NCR Corp. for 25 years and was that company’s CEO from 2003 to 2005.
Hurd is also on the board of News Corp.
